Stop Loss was released on DVD last week. This MTV Films production pretended to be a serious movie about the war in Iraq, but as we understood soon enough, it was just a movie targeted at people like us, who enjoy watching muscular young men act all macho. Namely decorated staff sergeant Brandon King (Ryan Phillippe) and sharpshooting sergeant Steve Shriver (Channing Tatum, who was a very different kind of sexy stud in Step Up).
As most of you already know, our king-of-screencaps friend Superhero Fan has a mission — objectifying men in pop culture — and he takes it very seriously. The caps he saw on the web were mediocre — not enough of Channing in underwear — so he made his own. However, he was unable to capture the mythical Stop Loss nude scene, which was apparently dropped from the DVD version as well. This makes the underwear caps all the more essential indeed.
