Tom Brady will grace the cover of the September issue of Esquire due out on Tuesday. He tops the magazine’s fourth annual Best Dressed Men in the World list and is photographed by Matthias Vriens.
Tom’s list of preconditions for the interview clearly stated that he did not want his supermodel girlfriend Gisele Bündchen, his 1-year-old son and the child’s mother, actress Bridget Moynahan, discussed at all. However, the New England Patriots quarterback is very eager to discuss his spiritual life and reveals that he is living his life according to The Four Agreements, by Don Miguel Ruiz: Be Impeccable With Your Words, Don’t Take Anything Personally, Don’t Make Assumption, and Always Do Your Best.
He also says, ironically, that people should care less about football. “Look at the attention I get,” he said. “It’s because I throw a football. But that’s what society values. That’s not what God values. He didn’t invent the game. We did. I have some eye-hand coordination, and I can throw the ball. I don’t think that matters to God.”
