
Earlier this year, Japanese-Italian fashion stylist and Dazed & Confused creative director Nicola Formichetti worked with photographer David Vasiljevic on the print ad campaign for the global re-launch of Levi’s 501.
This month, as newly appointed fashion director, he teams up with Hedi Slimane for the inaugural issue of Vogue Hommes Japan — not a project to take lightly.
London agency Models 1 provided the young samurai above, Ash Stymest, a slightly underfed biker and skateboarder — check the incredible DC Shoes tattoo on his right leg — who has to thank god mom and pop his genes for the great bone structure. This rising star already got a three-page fashion spread in the August 2008 issue of i-D.
