In April, James Franco became the face of Gucci’s latest men’s fragrance. The commercial was just released and we had to mention it — you’ve probably noticed these last few weeks that we have kind of a crush on James — even though the actor seems to be walking through the video like he’s on Xanax.
Add to that a lame cover of ”Slave to Love” by Róisín Murphy on the soundtrack and the whole thing starts to look like a fabulously sloppy mistake on the part of Gucci.
We’ll have to wait for the forthcoming print ad campaign. But let’s keep our hopes in check.
