Remember the troubling self-portraits of Sylvain Norget? Well you won’t be surprised to discover that the French model-turned-photographer is also very good at portraying other people. The photos of Matthieu that we’re previewing today were taken near Lacanau, one of Europe’s finest surfing spots, situated west of Bordeaux, France.

Matthieu Barnabé is a professional model looking for paid work. On MySpace, the 19-year-old describes himself as a laidback dude who loves life and wants to enjoy it to the fullest. He is addicted to extreme sports like surfing, bodyboarding and kayaking.

And we couldn’t help but notice another addiction in these shots – to Calvin Klein Underwear.
