Justin Hartley is the Bio-Engineered Hunk of Gemini Division

Justin Hartley recently inked a deal with Smallville to renew his role as billionaire Oliver Queen — a.k.a. the Green Arrow — for the 2008-2009 season.

But Superherofan just nabbed shirtless screencaps of him playing in Gemini Division, a high-tech drama/global conspiracy web series that debuted on August 18. Justin stars as Nick Korda, the bio-engineered lover Anna Diaz, an undercover NYPD vice cop who is thrust into a secret struggle between a classified government agency called Gemini Division and a group of suspected terrorists known as Sims. New episodes of Gemini Division air weekly at NBC.com and Scifi.com.

Justin Hartley was born on January 29, 1977 in Knoxville, Illinois. He got his first television job on NBC’s Passions, where he also met his wife, Lindsay Hartley. Justin’s favorite pastime is baseball, but he’s also an avid basketball player. However, his chest and arms look so perfect that we wouldn’t rule out daily trips to the gym and various genetic enhancements.

  1. It’s the Green Arrow! I actually saw these little webisode things last week. I was kinda confused when I first saw them, I was like UHHHH so what exactly is going on here? Something about secret agents, or aliens, or something like that.

I actually was working at CityWalk at Universal Studios once, and I just randomly saw him walking around. And I was like HEY it’s THAT guy! Hahaha.

Anywho, there’s this movie called Chronicles of Hollow Earth: The Next Race, it’s a pretty awesome indie sci fi flick. Are there any fans of like, Battlestar Galactica, or Firefly or anything within that Genre? Then that movie should be right up your alley.

Justin Hartley was supposed to be in it, but alas, it was not meant to be, so instead he’s in the dvd featurette thing. So I’m sure that’s something all you Justin fans can appreciate.

Thanks for the great input and the links. I loved BSG and Firefly so I guess I’ll have to check those Chronicles — they look a tad Farscape-ish :)

  3. Hey, cool you checked it out! I was actually lucky enough to be able to attend the screening, and I gotta say that the trailer doesn’t do the movie any justice. You really have to check it out and see for yourself. It really does have that BSG and Firefly vibe, I can fully picture it being a series or tv movie event on the SciFi Channel.

But the movie itself, IMO has a really great concept going for it. And I believe the story is enough to carry the movie, due to the fact that it’s a very indie flick which means it’s not exactly a George Lucas production, but I think that it holds its own. There’s a whole universe within the storyline which can be open to interpretation and theories, kinda in the same way as Lost. Because it’s meant to be a prelude to a trilogy. You should grab a dvd, and let me know what you think.

  4. Its so important for the interactive TV genre that Gemini Division puts on a good showing. This is the kind of innovative product that exploits the interactivity of the internet and changes the passive viewing experience of traditional TV into something far more engaging. Its success would bring much needed attention to the indie interactive web TV scene like our own http://www.deletedthegame.com. Signing Rosario Dawson is a genius and a coup, she is brilliant as Anna. And I’m curious to hear what people think of our hunks, Shawn Parsons as Ethan and David Rudd as Zach???
