On Friday night at Splash, NYC, San Francisco finalist Carlos won the UnderGear and Instinct Magazine’s ‘Model Star’ contest. After a first round with all the finalists we featured last week, only three contestants were still standing — the applause meter is a mean little machine: Carlos, Benjamin and Alexander (above, left to right).
On the second and final round, the judges picked Carlos, who will feature in the Spring 2009 UnderGear catalog and also on an upcoming cover of Instinct Magazine. The guy needs to lean out a bit. But it’s ok, coach Anton’s on call.

We got these pics through an amateur photographer attending the contest. It was very kind of him to send these. It was actually the first available coverage of the event. But the quality is poor indeed. Sorry about that.

I was at the event this past Friday. Carlos is definitely a cutie, but Alexander blew everyone away! Alexander had an incredible energy about him and garnered by far the greatest cheers. It’s beyond me why he was not the winner. Congrats to Carlos, but please Undergear, sign Alexander, put him on a cover or something….someone goofed up on that vote!
