We don’t see enough of Will Chalker, so it was really great to find the British model starring — with Carolyn Murphy — in the 30th Anniversary fall campaign of Banana Republic, photographed by Tom Munro (above).
This new campaign aims at portraying Banana Republic — a principal unit of Gap Inc. along with Gap and Old Navy — to the target audience of urban men and women in their 30s and 40s as a city-style, true lifestyle brand, not only just good at designing work shirts and khakis.
You’ll find more pictures of the BR campaign in the gallery, along with photos of Will Chalker from the fall-winter edition of GQ Style (below). In the article, the 28-year-old explains: “The way people see male beauty is weird. It still gets me that, on a shoot where you’re meant to be depicting a couple, the woman has to look aware of what she’s doing, of how to act sexually. For the man, his role is more voyeuristic. You’re supposed to be unaware of your own appeal, only noticing hers.”
Will clearly knows why we’re here.
