Sportsmen were in a generous mood this week, with French decathlete Romain Barras lending his pole to a competitor, rugby brothers Sean and Rory Lamont gracing the cover of Rugby World and soccer hunks Cristiano Ronaldo, Julio Cesar and Robinho going shirtless.

On the acting front, a ripped Paul James and a chubby Channing Tatum also went the shirtless route, and we found interesting screen grabs of Ugly Betty’s Eric Mabius naked in Wirey Spindell.

Our models lineup was the strongest to date, with Will Chalker celebrating Banana Republic’s 30th anniversary, Evan Wadle’s displaying his hairy backside for Randall Mesdon, Anton Antipov answering our last batch of questions, and Kerry Degman showing up in Central Park, Times Square and behind bars. JD Ferguson shared smoldering outtakes of his recent Vman shooting with Tyler Kenyon, Simon Nessman showed up in A Magazine, Steven klein got to punish another batch of boys in Arena Hommes Plus, and Charles Davis and Brandon Guttierez blew hot and cold in Fantasticsmag. And while we’re not entirely convinced by the newly elected UnderGear Model Star 2008, we were totally enthralled by Brazilian photographer Didio’s latest find and the killer legs of Kris Kranz in the new Energie underwear ads.
