Contributing Editor Magazine just published a rather Gus Van Sant-ish editorial photographed by Texas-born fashion and celebrities photographer James Macari — a natural lighting genius, if you ask us. The ‘Too Tough to Die’ ones are (above, left to right) Frenchmen Laurent Albucher and Julien Sabaud, and Jarek Pietka, of Poland.

Request model Laurent Albucher is said to be a very down-to-earth French youth who feels very much at home in the countryside, and he is certainly our favorite here. And DNA new face Jarek Pietka bears an uncanny resemblance to James Franco, don’t you think?
