Secret Story is a French reality TV show based on the popular Big Brother series format. The contestants are kept locked away for ten weeks in a house called “La Maison des Secrets” (the House of Secrets) — styled on the UK Big Brother 8 house — with a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a lounge (where the bath is), bathrooms and all. Quentin Fournier was the self-proclaimed ‘metrosexual’ contestant of season 2, and he was voted out last August. We asked this 20-year-old father of two — a third child is on its way — about his return to the real life in Nice, France.

How have you been since you left the House of Secrets?
Very well thank you. I’m back home, taking care of my two daughters.

What’s your typical day like?
Family breakfast first, then I take my eldest — she’s 3 — to school. House cleaning, grocery shopping, quality time with my little daughter and then we wait for mommy to return from work — she’s a clothing sales clerk. And I spend most of the time that I have left developing my professional contacts.

How do you make a living? What are your projects? 
I still make money from the fallout of the show but it’s dwindling now. I have several projects in the works, including an exhibition of my paintings in Monaco in February 2009, cameos in several music videos, but I’m still looking for something better than that. Thanks to a great agent and a lot of determination, I will soon appear in a Britney Spears video.

Why the nude pictures? Do you want to take up modeling?
Yes. I’d like to model for a clothing or underwear line. But mostly I did that to show that I’m not the self-effacing Quentin that people have seen on TV.
