Is Cam Gigandet here — photographed by Cliff Watts — to illustrate the ‘Make Good Sex Great’ feature story of the new issue of Men’s Health? Well, no. The 26-year-old actor is here to tell us how to ‘Gain Muscle, Lose Pounds’. Sigh. Anyway, you just have to watch reruns The O.C. or Never Back Down on DVD to understand that Cam is indeed very knowledgeable about bodily things.
But the badass hero of the highly anticipated vampire love story Twilight – in theaters November 21 — also has something to say about fear. “You’re selling a product that happens to be yourself,” he explains Men’s Health. “That brings out so many insecurities. There’s so much fear of failure because it’s so rampant, it’s everywhere. It was paralyzing to the point where I couldn’t get work or enjoy anything. To get where I am, I had to learn to live with fear. It’s all fear.”
Ok. All fear. Plus muscles, blue eyes and a Godspeed tattoo on the hip.
