Back in 2004, Jon Jonsson won Bravo’s reality-TV show Manhunt, picked up a $100,000 IMG modeling contract and was named ‘America’s most gorgeous male model’. Born to an Icelandic father and a Thai mother, the abstastic and Tarzan-ish 26-year-old soon followed with an Abercrombie & Fitch campaign shot by Bruce Weber, and a very long hiatus.
Since he’d said he wanted to use his contract money to be able to surf for the rest of his life in Indonesia, we assumed the guy was living his dream. But it now seems that the hundred grand was not enough. Jon just appeared in Hong Kong-based magazine Men’s Folio, lensed par Chuando & Frey. We sure won’t complain.
