So you thought True Blood’s Ryan Kwanten was the hottest and most totally ripped Aussie hunk out there? Well, he’s not anymore. Meet Craig Horner (above) from Legend of the Seeker, the new syndicated fantasy TV show produced by Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert that premiered in the US on November 1st.

The series is based on the Sword of Truth books by Terry Goodkind. It follows the transformation of Richard Cypher (Craig Horner) into a magical leader who will try to stop a bloodthirsty and sinister tyrant with lots of sword fighting and wizardy.

Horner recently starred on the hit Australian series Blue Water High. He also played in two other Australian series, Cybergirl and Totally Wild, and had a recurring role on the Lifetime series Monarch Cove. His feature film credits include Swimming Upstream, Blurred, The Moment After and See No Evil. And in real life, our sword-wielding hero enjoys playing soccer, volleyball, tennis, swimming, skiing, snowboarding and kayaking.

However, since Craig Horner doesn’t get to show his (presumably perfect) butt in every other scene of this PG-rated series, Ryan Kwanten will fight his way back to the top in no time when True Blood season 2 returns in 2009.
