Vanity Gay presents the work of Mexican photographer Carlos Arias. Carlos was born in 1985 in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico, moved to Phoenix, Arizona with his family ten years later, and now lives mostly in Manhattan. He started learning photography in 2004, contracting a passion for portrait almost immediately — a passion that certainly extended to the male body, if his web galleries (and the beefcake above) are any indication. His most notable influences are Pierre & Gilles, David LaChapelle, Pedro Virgil and Jill Greenberg. Keep your eyes open for this guy.
The gallery below also features a self-portrait of the artist.
