Chris Evans’ interview with The Advocate is a real can’t-miss. It starts with the Massachusetts native saying that he really wanted to be a part of Milk, but that losing to James Franco was ok: “I guess if you’ve got to lose, he’s the guy to lose to.”

Chris also explains why we won’t see him posing shirtless again, as in his famous 2004 photo shoot for Flaunt [above]. “I really didn’t think twice about taking my shirt off at the time, but my current publicist would pull her hair out if I did that photo shoot today.” He hired her for her professional opinion, and she thinks such sexy poses are not the best way to promote himself.

Further in the interview, when asked about his brother Scott Evans’ coming out, Chris tells The Advocate that he is about an inch taller and four shades tanner than him [below]. “I was so glad that he did [come out]. That’s got to be a difficult transition, but I come from the most liberal household you have ever heard of. And for some reason, gay men are just drawn to my mother. She’s a cool chick. I think, like, six men have come out to her. I guess they just feel so comfortable with her, and before you know it, they’re coming out of the closet. I think my mother was praying for us to be gay, so at least she got one of us.”
