Mark Carroll (LA Models) [above] starts with the relatively commonplace The truth can’t hurt you and I don’t think I can live without you, followed by Logan McNeil (Ford Models) warning Be careful darling you might fall, and a somewhat depressed John Kenney (LA Models) saying Everything else is a waste of breath, then I might as well be useless.

But our favorites are definitely the Ivanov brothers (Wilhelmina Models), especially Vladimir [below] with an ominous You’ve had your fun and that look in his eyes.

Photographer Thomas Whiteside studied to be a painter in Chicago and moved to Milan where his painting background led him to work in illustration and design. He later began taking pictures encouraged by friends and photographers. He now lives between New York and LA, and has contributed to Details, Paper, Travel+Leisure, InStyle and Elle.
