
Noted Berliner photographer Andreas Fux works with boys drenched in their own blood, S&M aficionados wearing all kinds of suffocation devices, adepts of extreme body piercing, branding and scarification — hence his classification as an uncommon, sometimes shocking but always interesting artist. But is portraits of the less extreme man are equally beautiful [above].

Fux is the author of several books including Die Russen Kommen! (The Russians Are Coming!), a gorgeous collection of photos of handsome, sexy Russian men that he took in Moscow, after the fall of the Iron Curtain. He recently did the same in Cuba [above], but stopped short of publishing a Cuban-themed coffee table book.
