Australian gay magazine AXN’s interview with adult performer Logan McCree is a can’t miss, really. And the jockstrap-laden photography by Roberto Chiovitti is not the only reason — we get to learn a great deal about McCree, starting with his real name, Philipp Tanzer, and the quiet life he’s living with boyfriend Vinnie D’Angelo — also a porn actor — in Dresden, Germany. “I got into porn because I needed the money,” he tells AXN. “It’s hard to make a living as a rock DJ. I only spin alternative rock music and indie. No house, techno or stuff like that.” Now, that’s artistic integrity!

He also admits to a one-time Viagra experience: “The only bad experience of that first shoot [with Raging Stallion] was that I had to take a Viagra after a couple hours of filming. It was my first Viagra ever — I never take medicine, drugs or even coffee. It gave me a really bad migraine.”

His tattoos? “[they] are like an armature. They are supposed to protect me and make me look less human and vulnerable. They symbolize angels,” he explains. But unless we’re mistaken, we see demons here and there too.
