Sean O’Pry tops Forbes‘ ranking of the 10 most successful male models. The magazine looks back on the Georgia native’s rise to the top, from his 2006 initial scouting by VNY Models, through his page on MySpace. “He came here with a little suitcase, not knowing what to expect and basically became a star overnight,” reveals VNY owner Lana Winters. “I’ve been in this business for a very, very long time and I’ve never seen anybody get such a response.”

American, Canadian and Brit models crowd the rest of the list. Last year’s number one — Tyler Fuchs — is 9th, hero of the Calvin Klein Jeans’ controversial ad Danny Schwartz [left] is 4th, right below Dolce and Gabbana’s favorite David Gandy [right]. Tattooed models such as Tyler Riggs and Cole Mohr are definitely in, but this year again, the Brazilians are apparently too cheap to mention — and it’s a shame.
