Diving is over in Rome, but the 13th FINA World Championships continue with swimming since last Sunday, with the (in)famous muscle-compressing and buoyancy-assisting Jaked01 suits helping legions of swimmers breaking world records. They also helped US swimmer Ricky Berens reveal a tad more of his anatomy, when the delicate fabric ruptured during warmup.

With no time to go back to the locker room and change, Berens had no choice but to wait for his turn in the men’s 4×100 meter relay, and dive with his butt in plain sight. This sacrifice of intimacy was not vain, since it ultimately led to the qualification of the US team, and a victory of Michael Phelps & Company later that day.
