On Sunday evening, the players taking part in the Rogers Cup filled the ballroom of the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal for a special evening. The two auctions held during the event raised CAN$50,000, which will go towards Tennis Canada’s Building Tennis Communities program. But just like two years ago [below], Novak Djokovic making his appearance to the crowd dressed in nothing but underwear was the high point of the night. He strutted down the catwalk in an oriental-style jacket designed by Yves Jean Lacasse, provocatively teasing the crowd as he made his way around the stage, before dropping the jacket [above], much to the enjoyment of the 600-plus crowd.

Sports-wise, the Serbian star cruised to victory at the Rogers Cup in Montreal yesterday afternoon, in spite of a suprising battle given by gifted 21-year-old Canuck Peter Polansky — ranked 225th in the world to Djokovic’s fourth. Other top players were also shaking off rust. No. 2-ranked Rafael Nadal, will play his first singles match since the French Open in May tonight against fellow Spaniard David Ferrer. Nadal has been battling tendinitis in both knees. He and coach Francisco Roeg lost their doubles match on Tuesday.
