The guys over at Calvin Klein think that the underwear world is in need of yet another male beauty pageant, European-centric so far, offering the winner a top male modeling contract plus a luxury trip for two to South Africa.The eight runners-up will receive a one-year supply of undies. Current Calvin Klein model Jamie Dornan is apparently not afraid of the sudden influx of amateurs: “This is the most amazing opportunity to begin an incredible modelling career,” he declares on the label’s website. “This is your chance to see the world, live the dream and meet lots of great people.”
All submissions will be judged by a fashion panel involving Jamie Dornan, a GQ representative, Devon Parson (the Head of Men’s new faces at Select Model Management) and Calvin Klein execs. In November, the judges will select one finalist from each of the nine countries, to be announced in February 2010. The 9 finalists will then represent their country and compete in the grand final in May 2010, when the winner will be chosen by public vote. Phew! The closing date for all entries is 31.10.09.

When they choose a model for underwears at Calvin Klein, do they consider the size of the package ? Do they prefer big packages or not ? I think that big packages are more exciting for consumers , but dont they discourage people with small packages ? For me I only buy underwears showing on the boxes or in the adds guys with big packages…
